a little craft project

i did a fun craft project over the weekend and thought i would share it with you.
i got a little inspiration from the Pleated Poppy from her project here and thought, what a great idea! i could do that! so i went out to our wood pile and picked out two prime pieces of weathered wood and used my carpentry skills *insert sarcasm* to attach the pieces together. 

then i white washed the wood and went to town on my design. i took the verse from 

Psalm 100:1  

Shout joyfully to the LORD all the earth!

I love how it turned out and put it on our book shelf in our living room.
